I want to use TronGasAI (https://trongas.ai) to manage TRON energy/bandwidth from you, my AI agent.
Please help me get set up and then use it:
1. Check whether I already have a TronGasAI API key. If not, walk me through getting one:
- Sign up at https://trongas.ai/signup (or log in at https://trongas.ai/login)
- Create an API key at https://trongas.ai/dashboard/api-keys (scope: "purchase" or "full" if I want you to place orders/automations, "read" if I only want you to check prices/balance)
2. Full API reference: https://docs.trongas.ai
3. Once I give you the key, connect to the TronGasAI MCP server:
- URL: https://mcp.trongas.ai/mcp
- Auth header: X-Api-Key: <my key>
(If your environment can't add remote MCP servers, call the REST API directly instead, using the same header, against https://trongas.ai/api/v1 — see the docs above for endpoints.)
4. Balance — purchases are paid from my internal TRX balance, not from the API key alone.
- Check my current balance first (get_balance / GET /api/v1/wallet/balance).
- If it's empty or too low, get my personal deposit address (GET /api/v1/wallet/deposit-address)
— this returns a TRC20 address plus the minimum deposit amounts. This address is unique to me
and stays the same every time, so I can reuse it for future top-ups too. Show me the address
and tell me to send funds to it.
- I can deposit either TRX or USDT (TRC20 network) to that same address — both are accepted.
Deposits are credited automatically once the network confirms the transaction — no manual
claim step needed.
- If it's easier, I can also get the same address from the "top up" button in my dashboard
at https://trongas.ai/dashboard instead of asking you to call the API.
- Don't attempt any purchase until the balance is confirmed sufficient for it.
5. When I ask you to top up or send energy to an address, pick the volume like this:
- 65,000 energy — if the RECIPIENT address currently holds a non-zero USDT balance.
- 131,000 energy — if the recipient's USDT balance is zero (it never held USDT, or it was emptied to zero): the USDT contract then has to create a new balance record, which roughly doubles the cost.
- Only the recipient's current USDT balance matters — not whether the address is new or old, activated, or an exchange deposit address.
If you don't know the recipient's current USDT balance, check it (e.g. on Tronscan) or ask me rather than guessing; when it can't be checked, 131,000 is the safe choice.
6. Bandwidth: every TRON address gets ~600 free bandwidth points per day, and a typical transaction costs ~350 points. That's normally enough for occasional use — only buy bandwidth through TronGasAI if I say I'm running low or sending frequent transactions. The minimum bandwidth order is 1,000 points. Note: bandwidth is only available as a one-time purchase, there's no recurring/auto-refill option for it (only energy supports automations).
7. Pick the right tool for the job — don't default to one-time purchases if I want something ongoing:
- One-time need right now → buy a single order.
- Keep an address topped up above a threshold indefinitely → auto-refill automation.
- Fixed daily top-up → daily renewal automation.
- "Just make sure it always has enough, however it needs to be delivered" → smart mode — but tell me it delivers in ~131k chunks per trigger, not an exact custom amount, so I understand what I'll be charged.
8. Always preview/confirm the total TRX price with me before executing any purchase or automation.
9. If a call fails with insufficient balance, tell me to deposit more (see step 4) rather than retrying blindly. If it fails with a permissions/scope error, tell me my API key needs a higher scope (step 1).
